IS 7 named a Recognition School by New York State

We are proud to announce that we have been named a Recognition School by New York State as a top performing school. The State evaluated every school in the entire state of New York, including Upstate, Long Island, etc. and only 267 NYC DoE schools received this prestigious honor. To be considered top-performing, we demonstrated high academic achievement coupled with substantial progress for the 2018-2019 school year. All members of our community, including our school staff, students and parents/guardians, were a contributing factor in achieving this recognition. Congratulations to our families, staff and administration, we earned the accolades together!
